JAMAICA
DESCRIPTION:
Almost one of every two Jamaicans who live in poverty is a child while only 37% of Jamaicans are children, and more than 2,000 children live in institutions, deprived of parental care.
FOCUS:
ICA has sent 3 shipments of educational and medical supplies and set up a local committee consisting of medical and education board members who receive and distribute the containers.
UPDATE:
ICA hopes to expand its involvement in Jamaica.
