THE COMPUTER SCHOOL
DESCRIPTION:
Today children still remain in a system with little resources, leaving them without a support network to enable them to acquire the skills for self sufficiency.
FOCUS:
In 1997, ICA developed a Computer School within an orphanage in Corabia. The focus of the school is computer proficiency training, secretarial skills and English lessons.
UPDATE:
Today, the Computer School has 20-25 children enrolled, has produced 4 University graduates and has 5 others currently enrolled in University. These children have benefited greatly from ICA’s computer school, as well as our policy of sponsoring the university education for those children that demonstrate a willingness to work for their future.
